Module Science and Peace Research




The science and peace research subject can be taken as part of other courses, e. g as a supplementary, minor or elective subject. In case that the examination office has a different credit point system compared to the ones described in the modules (see below), a customized module description by Prof. Kalinowski is also possible. Generally, students should check in advance under which conditions the module will be recognized by the examination office. Listed below are cases that are not problematic in terms of its academic recognition.

Flyer Supplementary and minor subjects plus elective subjects on Science and Peace Research Module

  • Physics course: This supplementary subject corresponds to Module ZNF-WP-02 (12 CP), recommended for Bachelor students; also available for Master students) as well as the Module ZNF-WP-01 (12 CP, recommended for Master students; also available for Bachelor students). Both modules consist of one final examination that the individual subjects included in the modules are not rated.
  • Geography course: As supplementary subject for the Geography course, this corresponds to the Modules ZNF-WP-02 (12 CP) and ZNF-WP-01 (12 CP)combined. Instead of a final examination, the results of the individual subjects are added for the overall rating.
  • Chemistry course: The supplementary subject for Bachelor and Master studies corresponds to the combination of 3 modules out of the offered modules, i.e. Module ZNF-UNO-01, ZNF-FV-01, ZNF-FS-01 sowie ZNF-HS-01.
  • Informatics course: This elective subject for the Bachelor studies corresponds to the modules ZNF-UNO-01, ZNF-FV-01, ZNF-FS-01 as well as ZNF-HS-01.
