Online workshop held in English: An Introduction to Improving Your Concentration
“The consciousness goes to the place that distracts it the most,” said Michael Alan Singer. Sadly, this rings truer now than ever. It seems we must learn to tame our fight or flight response as this survival technique does not meet the demands of our buzzing, technology-driven modern lives.
But how can we rechannel our energy and achieve deep focus? How can we prevent or redirect distractions? How can we prepare and synchronize body and mind to boost concentration?
Our workshop holds answers aplenty infused with bite-sized research, general information, and skills acquisition. A close look at the benefits and challenges of developing a modern mindset will help you shape individual focusing strategies.
Deep focus requires a state of inner silence. Thus, we must identify negative habits and distraction triggers that may impact your work environment. Listening to your needs will enable you to attune your mind and body for relaxation. So, come and learn how to create and maintain a positive, mindful work atmosphere! Our mindfulness kit will allow you to keep distractions at bay and stay focused in the future.
This offer is for staff of Universität Hamburg only!
