Colloquium: Quantum Interfaces between atoms, solids, and lights
Wann: Fr, 11.06.2021, 14:00 Uhr
This event will take place in English.
The Hamburg Photon Science Colloquium is jointly organized by all Photon Science Organizations and Research Cooperations on Campus Bahrenfeld.
The next Hamburg Photon Science Colloquium will welcome Prof. Dr. József Fortágh of the Universtät Tübingen, Germany with his talk on "Quantum Interfaces between atoms, solids and light":
Interfacing ultra-cold atoms and superconductors promises novel quantum interfaces where electronic or magnetic degrees of freedoms may be transferred from one system to the other while preserving the quantum nature. I present experimental results on the interaction of ultra-cold atoms with superconducting circuits and discuss the perspectives for quantum information processing.
The colloquium will be an online presentation only. Please contact us for the access data.
