Former Projects
please note: This website is being currently built!
In the past, researchers from different research groups at the ZNF have examined different biological, chemical, and nuclear risks in connection to biological weapons (BW), nuclear weapons, natural risk scenarios or biological accidents. Preventive measures as well as containment strategies involving political, scientific, and civil society decision making processes at regional, national, and international levels played a recurring role in the various projects.
Many projects were done in cooperation with scientics outside the ZNF.
