Students from all fields of study and perspectives are welcomed to learn more about the topic of peace at the ZNF. The point of emphasis is on lectures and seminars on Science and Peace Research. Each course in this field is conceptualized as a module, and can be taken as such.

In addition, at the ZNF we are offering the Curriculum Peacebuilding. This is a one-year study program that bundles various peace relevant aspects from psychology, medicine, political science, and pedagogy. You may find introductory information about our study program in our FAQ.

We would be happy to advise you on your bachelor’s or master’s thesis, if it's related to peace research. We're also happy to provide consultation if you are looking for an internship. We are offering all lectures and all seminars from the sector “Science and Peace Research” as modules in the “Freie Wahlbereich” (open electives) for students from all courses of study.

We have a module designed especially for students of physics or geosciences. The module consists of several courses from the section “Science and Peace Research”, and can be taken as a complementary subject.

Curriculum Peacebuilding

The Curriculum Peacebuilding offers interdisciplinary courses for all students at the University of Hamburg. Points of emphasis are, among others, conflict transformation in post war societies, and methods of conflict prevention.
