About this lecture:
Myanmar people living in Thailand have built educational institutions for their own communities, having had limited access to Thai state schools. This network includes Migrant Learning Centers, schools in refugee camps, Post-10 schools, and private schools. Since the 2021 coup in Myanmar, that network has expanded to include virtual options sponsored by the National Unity Government (NUG) and others in response to boycotts of Myanmar's education system. In this presentation I will provide an overview of this educational network and discuss how it might evolve in the future.
