Networking meeting for employees with experience of racism
When: Tue, 23.06.2026 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM
Where: Bundesstraße 56a, 20144 Hamburg
This networking meeting addresses employees who have experienced racism, including subtle or overt racist stereotyping, or due to their presumed or actual ethnic origins, religion, skin color, or language. The workshop, led by Tsepo Bollwinkel, is an opportunity for exchange and a shared assessment of personally experienced discrimination. It will also provide an opportunity to reflect upon institutional routines that are racist in effect, regardless of anyone’s personal intentions. Last but not least, we will consider resources and supportive strategies at the various levels of University life.
The event is organized by the University’s Antidiscrimination Center (ZAD), the Equity Unit, and the Equal Opportunities Team of the MIN Faculty. It will take place in English. For questions or special concerns, please contact the ZAD
